Cantilever Racking is used for the storage of very long items such as carpet, timber, pipe, etc. It is open and therefore easier to place and remove stock. One bay of Cantilever Racking consists of two columns fixed to a base with horizontal arms attached by methods at various levels.
Note: Cantilever Racking does not fall under AS4084-1993/2012/2023 and the Manufacturer and/or Supplier is recommended under WH&S to supply Safe Working Load (SWL) ratings at a column level and individual arm level.
