The process sounds straightforward – just build the end frames and attach the beams, then place the stock on top of the beams. 

In truth, there are loads of factors to consider making sure that the racking structures works right and are built safely. 

The racking structure and the goods the structure will be holding are heavy, and taking is a bit of a contradiction – it’s both delicate and tough. 

Structures can handle massive vertical loads, but racking is not designed to take a beating from horizontal forces like bumps and knocks. Even minor impacts can lead to a disastrous collapse of racking structure systems.
